I am approximately 3 years old and was relinquished to MPR by my mom. I have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, Corona, Bordetella and fecal and heartworm tested, treated for fleas and whipworms as a result of the fleas and had my teeth cleaned. I am a loving sweet girl. I have one issue, I am blind. I do very well getting around once I learn the placement of furniture and other surroundings. I like to go for walks and will follow your voice to keep up. I am trained to go potty outside but must be taken out. I lost my one eye as a result of being the smallest in the litter and my big brother picking on me. One time he scratched my eye so bad that it needed to be removed as a result of the infection that developed. The second eye was lost about 1 ½ years ago when I walked into an object and punctured it.
In my old home I had a two legged sibling who often startled me because I did not know she was there. I was often stepped on because I did not know how to protect myself by moving out of the way. You know how little ones are, they just walk thru anything in their way. I love people, cats and small dogs but I would do the best in a quiet home so I can use my sense of hearing to compensate for my lack of sight. I love to snuggle and would like to find a forever home where I can. If you can find a place in your heart to provide me with a home, I know you will never regret it.
