The adoption process is closed for Ziggy

Ziggy joined Pug Luv because his mom felt she did not have enough time to spend with him and believed he deserved better.  He is 2 1/2 years old, neutered and very active.  He is being brought up to date on his Rabies, Distemper, Lepto, Bordetella and Flu vaccines, heartworm tested and routine blood work.  He has received a complete physical exam by our Veterinarian.  He has an ear infection that is being treated with medications.  His mom described him as "The All American Boy" because he was born on the 4th of July.  He loves children and big dogs.  He is not good with cats and smaller dogs but is doing very well with the Pugs he has interacted with from the rescue.  She said "he has never met a stranger he didn't like".  He has had some obedience training and knows sit, down, spin, off and lets go.  He is crate trained.  He has potty accidents which are being addressed.  He loves to snuggle and give kisses.  He answers to Ziggy, Zigs and Ziggles.
If you are interested in adopting Ziggy, go to the Adopt/Foster tab on the home page of michiganpugrescue.com to download, print, complete and mail in an Adoption Application.  The adoption interviews will not begin before the end of January so that everyone has pleanty of time to get their application in.  The process for adopting is to interview approved applicants after which the Adoption Committee will make a decision as to what family will progress in the process.

Do not send applications by Express mail or Priority mail.  If you are inclined to do so use the money you would have spent on the postage to make a donation to the rescue.  We have found that the expedited mailings do not get here any faster than by regular mail.  E-mails and inquries from Adopt a Pet, PetFinder and other independent sites will result in a reply that just tells you the adoption process.
