Benji was rescued along with his 3 sisters from a woman who had fallen on hard times. He is 11 months old and had never been seen by a Veterinarian therefore needs a complete physical exam, his Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella and Flu vaccines, heart worm testing and preventative, complete blood work and to be neutered. He has bilateral ear infections that are being treated with meds. He also has bilateral luxating patellas. At this time they are not severe enough to require surgery but need to be watched. If they worsen they will need surgery. He is housebroken, good with children, other dogs, and cats, is in the process of being crate trained. Once all of his medical is completed he will be available for adoption. He loves to cuddle and give lots of kisses, will sit on command, play fetch and sit for a treat .
We are accepting applications by USPS only to be evaluated for Benji or any other Pug that enters the program in the future. . We do not accept e-mailed or faxed applications. Go to michiganpugrescue.com, click on the Adopt/Foster tab on the left of the home page, read all the information and download, print, complete and mail in the application. All information about Benji is posted and is updated when information is available. If you are considering sending your application by Priority or Express mail, please consider sending it regular mail and making a donation for the difference in what you would have spent. This will be used to assist with the medical bills of the Pugs.
