CoCo is a 4 month old female Pug. She was surrendered to the rescue because her mom felt she was too much for her to handle. She is up to date on her vaccines, not spayed, and house training is a work in progress. She will be available to be adopted in September once she has been spayed. She is a really happy, sweet, friendly, high energy puppy. She would do well with a fenced yard or regular walks. She’s good with dogs and kids. She knows “sit”, “go pee”, and will sleep in a crate. She’s learning to give kisses instead of nips. She’s really smart and learns best with treat rewards.
She needs access to water and frequent potty time. She’ll go outside and is learning to only go outside. She needs to potty once overnight and will bark to wake you up. Then she goes back into her crate for the rest of the night without fuss.
She plays with her pug-foster brothers and with toys. Senior dogs may find her energy and play habits challenging. She enjoys cuddling with people and pets at nap time. CoCo still chews, tastes, and explores her world enthusiastically and should not be left unattended for long in a yard or inside when not crated or contained in a puppy friendly room. She barks at first when left alone but is not destructive.
Applications are being accepted for her adoption. Go to the Adopt/Foster page listed on the left of the home page for information on the adoption process. If you are unable to adopt her donations are appreciated.
