Frank was an owner surrender. He had not had any of his vaccines, heart worm testing, blood work and had not been neutered. He is very active, likes other dogs and children. We believe his marking was a result of not having been neutered and living with a female dog. He has now had his vaccines and will see the Opthalmologist on 8/26. He must be neutered prior to being adopted.
8/26 Frank saw the Opthalmologist today. His eye will heal over about 3 months with the use of Tacrolimus drops. He will not lose his vision and does not need to go back again. He is scheduled to be neutered on Tuesday September 3rd after which he will be available to be adopted
If you are interested in adopting Frank go to michiganpugrescue.com and click on the Adopt/Foster tab where you will find the Application for Adoption that must be completed and submitted. Once the application has been approved a meeting will be set up for the entire family including current dogs.
