I was given my name because I did not have one when I was picked up at the shelter by MPR on 9/4/09. People said what a handsome guy I am so that is how I got my name. The animal control people picked me up from a home where the people had been foreclosed on, they moved out, and they left me behind. I am estimated to be about 7 years old, very friendly, do not mind a crate, and just love anybody who will give me attention. I will have blood work done, be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for Rabies, Corona, fecal checked, have my teeth, ears and folds cleaned, and receive a dose of Frontline to get rid of those nasty fleas that have taken refuge on my body. I was already vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella. 11/7/09 Update: George had x-rays of his back because he was limping. The x-ray revealed he has Arthritis and has been placed on Glucosamine and Metacam. Update: George takes walks on a regular basis. He starts out a little stiff but once he gets going he is like the eveready rabbit, he goes and goes and goes.
