Now that you are looking at my picture you already know my name is Gordon. Let me tell you what you do not know. I was rescued by a Good Samaritan when I was left in the back yard of a home where I once lived with my family. My family moved out and left me there to survive on my own. The lady who took me in was able to ascertain that my name is Gordon but that is all. The MPR vet estimates I am about 4 years old. I am very friendly to both people and other dogs. I have not experienced children as of yet but the folks at MPR think based on my overall disposition it should not be a problem. I had been neutered but as there are no vet records available I will start my vaccines and tests all over again. I will be have a heartworm and fecal test, be vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, Corona and Bordetella. All that will be done while I am under anesthetic to have my teeth cleaned and a small growth on the top of my head removed. I do ok in a crate and the folks at MPR must evaluate my housebreaking. I am a little hefty so I will be put on a diet. Update 11/12/09: Gordon had a growth removed from his forehead and one of his legs and they were sent to the lab for analysis. He had his teeth cleaned and 4 extracted and is on medication for bilateral ear infections and whipworms.
